IMMIGRATION LAW

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE NEW CHANGES TO IMMIGRATION LAW FROM
THE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AND IMMIGRATION SERVICES (USCIS)

THE I-812D
CONSIDERATION OF DEFERRED ACTION FOR CHILDHOOD ARRIVALS - ak.a. THE DREAM ACT

The Deferred Action For Childhood Arrivals (I-821D) (The Dream Act) is now the law!

Do you qualify for the new immigration program?  Some of the many questions that will be considered by immigration are as follows:

     1.  Did you came to the United States without inspection before you reached the age of 16?
     2.  Have you continuously resided in the United States since June 15, 2007?
     3.  Were present in the United States on June 15, 2012, and under the age of 31?
     4.  Are you currently in school or graduated from high school.
     5.  Have not been convicted of a felony, a significant misdemeanor, or three (3) or more misdemeanors?
     6.  Do you not pose a threat to National Security or public safety?
     7.  Are you presently in deportation proceedings?
     8.  Are you able to show a need for work authorization you could qualify for a work permit and deferred
          action?
     9.  At the time of filing, are you at least 15 years of age?

These are a few of the questions that must be asked in order to determine if you are eligible for the Deferred Action For Childhood Arrivals (I-821D) (a.k.a. The Dream Act) offered by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

Make sure when considering if The Deferred Action For Childhood Arrivals (I-821D) (The Dream Act) is right for you, that you meet with a reputable and knowledgeable attorney who knows the immigration process.  Do not deal with immigration (USCIS) alone and do not rely on "information" you have heard from other people.  Do not be left behind or fall into the many pitfalls in the immigration process.
